Unit 69: Presenting Concept Artwork for Computer Games - Task 4

In terms of the general layout of the portfolio website, I believe I have created a simple, professional looking website to present my work. I really like the look of the template I used for the site, as the black and white theme I used looks professional but simple. Each page has symmetry with the other, as each has a home button, which doubles as a navigation menu, and with my title at the top. I personally think it suits the purpose of a portfolio perfectly, although it is not in the layout of a traditional portfolio. I think this because it presents the artwork in different pages rather than one single page, so the viewer can focus on a single drawing rather than many; however, this pattern is broken with the 'Other' page, as I felt I didn't have enough to talk about a single drawing in comparison to the other pages, so I added multiple to one page. Compared to my original intentions, the website has come out really well; as I thought that my website would look more akin to my web blog, which looks less professional. However, thanks to the templates supplied by wix.com I was able to create a design that looks truly professional and has a distinct design. Overall, I am very pleased with the design of my portfolio blog, as it combines easy navigation with a simple, professional design.
